Supply of Replacement Parts for the Authority’s Glide Path Baggage Claim Conveyor System

INVITATION TO BID
TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES

The Piedmont Triad Airport Authority (the “Authority”) will receive proposals in the Authority’s offices at the Piedmont Triad International Airport for the supply of replacement parts for the Authority’s Glide Path Baggage Claim Conveyor System until February 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at which time and place all proposals received will be publicly opened and read aloud.  Bids received after such time will not be accepted.

Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained by contact­ing the Lindsey Architecture at (336) 617-4402 or by email addressed to Barbara Verstat, at [email protected]. Copies of the Bid Documents can also be downloaded from the Authority’s website, flyfrompti.com.  Go to the tab for “RFPs, RFQs, and Bid Documents” under “Operations.” Any Addenda issued by the Authority will also be posted at the same location on the website.

Each Bid Proposal shall remain binding for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening thereof to allow time for evaluation of the Bids by the Authority.

In a separate Invitation to Bid published simultaneously herewith, the Authority is soliciting proposals to supply replacement parts for its Stearns Baggage Claim Conveyor System. Any party interested in bidding for that contract must submit a separate bid in accordance with the Invitation to Bid for that contract, which is being advertised simultaneously with this Invitation to Bid for the Glide Path replacement parts.

The Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in or reject any or all bids and to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever the Authority deems to be in its best interest.

The Piedmont Triad Airport Authority, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full an fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration of an award.
