ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 

Sealed proposals will be received by Bobby Sweat of the North Carolina State Ports Authority in Room 100A of the North Carolina Maritime Building, 2202 Burnett Blvd., Wilmington, NC, 28401, phone no. (910) 746-6407, up to 3:00 pm, February 29, 2024, and will immediately thereafter be publicly opened and read, for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment entering into the construction of T2 Roof Replacement, North Carolina State Ports Authority, Morehead City, NC.

Bids will be received for Single prime construction contract. All proposals shall be lump sum. Bidders should clearly indicate on the outside of the bid envelope “BID PROPOSAL FOR T2 Roof Replacement”, their North Carolina General Contractor’s License Number, and that the bid is for “Single Prime Bid”.

The project includes furnishing materials identified in the contract documents and the provision of all labor and equipment to perform the work associated with the project.

The project is located on North Carolina State Ports Authority property at 113 Arendell Street, Morehead City, NC, 28557.

An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders and vendors on February 15, 2024 at 10:30 AM in the Maritime Building Conference Room located at, 113 Arendell Street, Morehead City, NC.  Attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory; however, all Bidders are encouraged to attend this conference and/or visit the site to better acquaint themselves with site conditions and job requirements.

The owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities.
