UNCG Arts Place at Tate Gate project located in Greensboro, NC

Blum Construction will accept proposals until 4:00 pm on Tuesday, December 10^th, for the UNCG Arts Place at Tate Gate project located in Greensboro, NC.

Project consists of a 15,000 GSF (2) story new building for UNC-Greensboro, located on an approx. 2-acre lot at the corner of W. Gate City Blvd and Tate Street.  The scope of work includes complete site regrading, plaza, parking, and sidewalks.  The new 2-story building supports program space for the Arts including an immersive studio, art studios, a digital makerspace, a classroom, offices, and public spaces.  The site abuts a railroad and has a railroad easement overlay that will need careful coordination for all construction activities.

This project has a goal of 10% MWBE participation.  Please include the provided MWBE forms with all bids.  If MWBE subcontractors require assistance with bonding or payment terms, please let us know.  Blum Construction has the ability to create custom solutions to support a successful project outcome.  Examples of Trade Partner Support:  quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
