ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
Sealed proposals will be received by Balfour Beatty Construction for the Wake Tech South Campus – Building C Renovation in Raleigh, NC.
Bids for the following packages will be opened on January 16th, 2025 @ 3:00 PM: BP01B Final Clean, BP06A Casework, BP07B Roofing, BP07C Fireproofing, BP07K Caulking & Insulation, BP08A Doors, Frames & Hardware, BP08G Interior Alum Frames/Glass, BP09A Drywall & Framing, BP09B Acoustical Ceilings, BP09D Painting, BP09E Flooring, BP09L Tile, BP10A Misc Specialties, BP10C Signage, BP12A Window Treatments, BP22A Plumbing, BP23A HVAC, BP23C HVAC Controls, BP 23D Plumb & HVAC Combo, BP26A Electrical, BP27A Telecommunications. All bids will be received and opened publicly at Wake Tech South Campus – Building C (4812 Tech Road, Raleigh, NC 27603). Bids will not be accepted from bidders that are not pre-qualified.
On December 12th, 2024, a Pre-Bid Meeting & HUB Outreach will be held at 2:00 pm virtually via Microsoft Teams. Notice of Public Meeting for Proposed Alternate Bids will include Owner Preferred Brand Alternates for the following: Von Duprin, Schlage, LCN, Stanley, Door Controls, Horton Automatics, Armstrong, CertainTeed, USG, Hunter Douglas, Rockfon Planostile, Vector, Tarkett, Mohawk, Gerflor, Bentley Mills, Mannington Commercial, Flexco, Johnsonite, Roppe, Shaw Contract, Patcraft, EF Contract, Taymor, Tough Guy, Tork Article, Purell, Kutol, Grainger, Hospeco, Koala. During the Virtual Pre-Bid Meeting, Owner preferred products for the project will be reviewed.
Bid Documents will be available on December 9th, 2024, at http://app.buildingconnected.com/_/risk/public- invite/5430e7a75cdc2e0300dd757d . All interested parties are advised that the pre-qualified bidder’s list will be finalized and made available via the issuance of a project addendum no less than 7 days prior to bid. All Bidders are strongly encouraged to include opportunities for Minority Business participation wherever possible in their respective bid submission. Good faith efforts are a part of this contract and must comply with the State of North Carolina General Statutes. The CM and Owner reserve the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
