BIDDER PREQUALIFICATION REQUEST

D.A. Everett/Christman, A Joint Venture has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk by Winston-Salem State University for the K.R. Williams Auditorium Expansion & Renovation in Winston-Salem, NC.  The overall project includes renovation and addition to a 3-story building, about 50,067 SF auditorium and classroom space.  Early packages will include a large quantity of site reconstruction, including earthwork, demo, and relocation of various site utilities, new temporary steam, relocation of site electrical, and relocation of existing domestic, fire, gas, and chilled water lines.  Selective site demolition of parking, landscape and some reconstruction of parking areas and early procurement are also included.

At this time, we are seeking to pre-qualify subcontractors for the All Scopes of Work Packages 

Prequal & Bidding Timeline (tentative) 

• Bid Package #1: Early Sitework & Utilities, Site Steam/Condensate, Site Electrical (MV)/Transformer Procurement Packages. 

(Includes Site, Demolition & Abatement, Construction Fencing, Site Utilities, General Works)

September 24, 2024:
Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Walk-thru

September 27, 2024:
Last Day for Questions

October 8, 2024:
Final Addenda to Bidders

October 22, 2024:
Sealed Bids Due (Bid Date)

• Bid Package #2: Structural Steel, Structural Concrete, Elevators, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection & Electrical Packages.    

And

• Bid Package #3: Remaining Building Packages.                       

(Includes all other scopes of work NOT included in Bid Package #1 or #2)
