Blum Construction will accept proposals until 2:00 pm on Monday, September 30, 2024, for the Winston-Salem State University Post Office Renovation project located in Winston-Salem, NC.

Project consists of approximately 1,900 SF interior renovation of a portion of the Thompson Student Center Post Office located off 780 Success Way, Winston Salem, NC. Scope of work to include interior demolition, masonry, millwork, doors, frames & hardware, drywall & acoustical ceilings, metal wall panels, specialties & finishes, sprinkler, mechanical and electrical. This project has five (5) stated alternates along with alternate HVAC and electrical layouts. Please review and include breakout pricing for these with your bid.

This project has a goal of 10% MWBE participation. Please include the provided MWBE forms with all bids. If MWBE subcontractors require assistance with bonding or payment terms, please let us know. Blum Construction has the ability to create custom solutions to support a successful project outcome. Examples of Trade Partner Support include quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
