Angela Quiles Nevarez Appointed Co-Chair of Jackson Lewis’ Hispanic-American Attorney Resource Group

PHILADELPHIA –  Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Philadelphia Of Counsel Angela Quiles Nevarez has been appointed Co-Chair of Jackson Lewis’ Hispanic-American Attorney Resource Group, alongside Morristown Principal Jason C. Gavejian. As part of Jackson Lewis’ ongoing efforts to promoting an inclusive company culture, the firm has a standing Diversity and Inclusion Committee divided into attorney resource groups (ARGs), both to ensure all vital areas are addressed and to provide leadership opportunities for minority attorneys. Ms. Quiles Nevarez and Mr. Gavejian will lead the group’s efforts in providing opportunities for mentorship, business development, pro bono activities and recruiting.

Angela Quiles Nevarez focuses her practice on employment litigation. She regularly defends employers in actions involving claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, and retaliation. Ms. Quiles Nevarez has litigated matters before state and federal courts in California and Pennsylvania and has broad experience representing employers in proceedings before state and federal administrative agencies and tribunals. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Quiles Nevarez regularly helps clients avoid litigation by providing advice and counsel on a variety of issues, including discipline and termination, workplace investigations, and leaves of absence. She also conducts training seminars on employment-related issues, including diversity and inclusion.
