Wilmington Police Department – Port City Super Girls Sponsors FREE Mother – Daughter Luncheon

Wilmington, NC – Port City Super Girls sponsored by the Wilmington Police Department, will host a Mother – Daughter luncheon on Saturday, October 27 at 11:30 am at St. James Parish (Perry Hall) 25 South Third Street. The luncheon is free and open to mothers and daughters in the Cape Fear region.

The theme for the event is Girls Rocking it – Inside and Out with a focus on body-shaming issues. The luncheon will include special guest speaker Tawana Williams, who was born without arms. Williams is the author of Unarmed but Dangerous and an international motivation speaker and Hope Coach. Attendees will also meet the stars of Lifetime’s Women on Patrol from the Wilmington Police Department.
