Impact Network’s Show, “Healing & Hope” Featuring Dr. W. Franklyn Richardson & the Conference of National Black Churches

The weekly show will feature some of the nation’s most prominent faith leaders

New York, NY (Friday, February 10, 2023) – The Impact Network will debut “Healing & Hope” highlighting the work, leadership and mission of the Conference of National Black Churches (CNBC) led by Dr. W. Franklyn Richardson, Senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, New York. “Healing & Hope” will uplift, inform and call viewers to action in the face of today’s most pressing theological social justice issues. Show guests will include some of the nation’s most prominent faith leaders like civil rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton, President of National Action Network (NAN) and Bishop J. Drew Sheard, Presiding Bishop of the Church of God In Christ (COGIC).

The 30 min show will run weekly at 10 p.m on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The schedule is as follows:

Feb 14th : Special Guest: Bishop J. Drew Sheard, Presiding Bishop of the Church of God In Christ (COGIC) and Senior Pastor of Greater Emmanuel Institutional COGIC in Detroit, Michigan. Bishop Sheard is known as a “bridge builder” due to his leadership in both civic and religious communities.
Feb 21st: Special Guest: Special Guest: Dr. Jerry Young, Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, a mission-driven institution, since 1980, and founder of New Hope Christian Pre-School and New Hope Christian Elementary School.
Feb 28th: Special Guest: CNBC President, Jacqui L. Burton. Ms. Burton has built her career in advancing the work of the Black Church and its role in social justice, health and public policy advocacy.

March 7th: Special Guest: Bishop Adam J. Richardson, Senior Bishop of African Methodist Church. He has a longstanding commitment to mission-related ministries, the advancement of women in ministry, and social and political action.

March 14th: Special Guest: Bishop Lawrence Reddick, III, Presiding Bishop of The Eighth Episcopal District and Senior Bishop of The Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, becoming the longest serving active bishop and CEO in 2014. He is assigned to the Eighth Episcopal District, comprising most of Texas and Jamaica.
March 21st: Special Guest: Bishop Kenneth Monroe, Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. He is the author of “Adventures of Uncertainty, Making the Impossible Possible with God,” where he discusses his many years of international experience in the ministry and his own journey through personal hardships.
March 28th: Special Guest: Dr. David Peoples, President of the Progressive National Baptist Convention Inc., which boasts a membership of 2.5 million. He is strongly involved in his community.
April 4th: Special Guest: Ecumenical Partner

“CNBC is committed to serving as a voice within the Christian community to celebrate triumphs, spearhead community organizing in the face of injustice and safeguard both spiritual and physical wellbeing for over 30,000 congregations nationwide,” said Dr. Richardson.  When the world shifted during COVID-19, so did our work, and CNBC was instrumental in providing relief to the communities most impacted by pandemic, vaccinating thousands through our efforts. “Healing & Hope” will highlight this and more through conversations with CNBC leadership, guest interviews, and sharing the stories of those who have been impacted by our ministry.”
