Rodgers will accept sealed bid proposals from project specific prequalified trade contractors for bid package 02D Structures Demolition, at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) on Tuesday, November 29th, 2016, at 2:15 P.M. in Room FS218 of the CPCC Drumm Facilities Services Building, 1325 East 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204. The building is located near the intersection of East 7th Street and Charlottetowne Avenue.
Prior to Bid Day, sealed bid proposals can be delivered to Rodgers Builders, Inc.’s CPCC projects office at 1321 East Seventh Street, Charlotte, NC 28204 (located behind the Drumm Facilities Services Building).
Rodgers will host a Pre-Bid Meeting to discuss the project details on Thursday, November 10th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Room FS218 of the CPCC Drumm Facilities Services Building, 1325 East 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204. A site visit will be held immediately after the formal Pre-Bid Meeting. Attendance of the Pre-Bid Meeting and site visit is mandatory to bid this project.
The project includes the demolition and removal of existing building structures and associated hazardous materials, appurtenances, facilities and services located on the CPCC’s Central in Charlotte, N.C. The project will include demolition and removal of the Kratt Hall Building located at 1320 Sam Ryburn Walk, a service yard located near the CPCC Giles Science Building and the Double Door Inn located at 1218 Charlottetowne Avenue, all in Charlotte, N.C. Demolition is scheduled to commence in early January 2017.
