(PART-TIME)
Greater Diversity News a 36-year-old company that publishes weekly online and monthly editions, is looking for an independent contractor to perform newspaper layout and design duties (Part Time) in our print production department.
DUTIES:
• Layout & design of classified pages. Must be available on Monday and Tuesday evenings
• Tracking/kerning text
• Generating PDF documents for review
• Making corrections to ads placed in the classified section
• Assisting Sr. Graphic Designer as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have intermediate skills using Adobe InDesign.
• Excellent communication and organization skills to receive and reply to interoffice emails
• Must have the ability to meet established deadline schedules
• This is a remote position. You must have access to a computer with InDesign software, Adobe Acrobat, and a solid internet connection
• Must be able to work from home and require minimum supervision
• Previous newspaper layout and design experience preferred.
Pay Per Hour:
$20.00 per hour for a 6-hour work-week ($120.00)
