REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS 

BEER SALES

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  APRIL 12, 2024

PROJECT SUMMARY
The City of Sanford is seeking proposals for the selling of beer by Sanford based breweries at various events starting in June 2024.  This proposal process will be used as on call for events throughout the year and be valid through December 31st, 2028.

Qualified applicants will be required to sell their own alcohol (no nonalcoholic products) and provide insurance as follows:  general liability insurance in the amount of $5,000,000 which may include an umbrella policy; workers compensation insurance per state statute; $3,000,000 liquor liability insurance.  In addition to insurance, applicant must include City of Sanford as a co insured on insurance certificate.  Please submit interest and documentation of proof of insurance for events.

The posting date will be from March 30, 2024, through April 12th, and qualification packages will be opened on April 15th, 2024, at 3 pm in the West End Conference Room at City Hall:  225 E. Weatherspoon Street, Sanford, NC 27330.

City Responsibilities
  1.  City assumes no risks for the sale of alcohol.

2. City will have no involvement in the sale or distribution of alcohol.
