(Plan Your Vote: 2022 Elections (nbcnews.com) is the 2020/22, interactive tool from NBC News and MSNBC, which encourages Americans to plan when and how they will vote, considering each state’s coronavirus pandemic restrictions, mail-in ballot rules, early in-person voting, and more. The following list is of utmost importance to students and supporters to ensure necessary and appropriate responses to voter suppression throughout the United States. This list is an example of North Carolina’s priorities. Details for other states are on the website.

Deadlines and Actions
These guidelines are available on the website of state Boards of Election and the Plan Your vote website
- Friday, Oct. 14, is the deadline to register in person, by mail, and online.
- Tuesday, Nov. 1, is the deadline to request a mail-in ballot.
- Thursday, Oct. 20, is the first day you can vote early in person.
