Mecklenburg County Asset and Facility Management will receive sealed bids for Naomi Drenan Recreation Center Renovations, until 2:00 pm, April 24, 2024, at which time bids will be opened in the office of Mecklenburg County Asset & Facility Management Department, 3205 Freedom Drive, Suite 6000, Charlotte, NC 28208. Bid, performance, and payment & material bonds are required. NC law and applicable regulations of various licensing boards and M/W/SBE provisions will be observed. The project is located at 750 Beal Street, Charlotte, NC 28211. Scope of work includes renovations of the existing 13,000SF recreation center and improvements to the site to update the facility and address accessibility concerns. A new entry addition is part of the scope of work. Bidding documents, consisting of drawings, specifications, instructions, and forms will only be issued electronically, at no cost to the Contractor.
