The City of Greenville is seeking qualified applicants for the following positions:

Police Officer (Certified & Non-Certified/Trainee)

Under general supervision, performs law enforcement work as established by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Council.

Starting annual salary for N.C. Certified Officer (General Certification): $41,683.20.
Starting annual salary for trainee with BLET and probationary certification: $35,796.80.

Those who are currently enrolled in an approved North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program are eligible to apply.

Animal Protective Services Officer

Under general supervision, enforces leash laws and regulations pertaining to animal control.

Starting Annual Salary: $29,619.20.

Application Deadline: 05-14-17.

Building Inspector

Performs skilled technical work in securing compliance with State Building, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Energy and other related codes and local ordinances.

Hiring Salary Range: $45,780.80 – $57,220.80, depending on qualifications.
